Casting knowledge – front tank and level alarm
The front box is provided with a four-bar linkage mechanism to automatically control the level of the front tank, and the imported laser range finder measures the height of the liquid in the front tank to achieve automatic display of the liquid level of the front tank and an over-level alarm. The temperature of the front box was measured by a thermocouple and the temperature of the liquid in the static oven and the deaeration tank was adjusted.
Operation process:
A. The liquid aluminum flows from the side into the front box. After the liquid level reaches the process requirements, adjust the float position (see C direction) so that the entire four-bar linkage mechanism is balanced. If the liquid level is lower than required, the plug retreats, so that the throughput of molten aluminum increases; if the liquid level is higher than required, the plug advances, so that the throughput of molten aluminum decreases. This action is changed along with the float and it can ensure that the level fluctuation of aluminum liquid is controlled within ±1mm.
B. If you stop or change the charge specification, you need to drain the aluminum bath from the flow tank, degassing system, and the front tank. At this time, as long as the discharge plug provided on the front box device is pulled up, the aluminum liquid can flow out along the discharge port and smoothly flow into the aluminum waste box. (Before casting aluminum liquid, check the surrounding conditions, whether there is flammability or potential danger, and confirm that the safety work is correct before proceeding)
C. Just above the front box, there is a laser distance measuring device at the rack beam. In normal production, the laser range finder device is moved directly above the front box by the operator and the liquid level is cleared according to the process requirements. When not in production, the device is moved out of the front box by the operator to extend the life of the infrared range finder and prevent improper operation of the infrared range finder.
